1.  The ANGEL FIN�s unique design becomes a true extension of the diver�s leg - it just looks and feels right!  One of the major keys is the foot-pocket design.  The foot-pocket should fit comfortably snug.  An often overlooked and misunderstood source of power loss is a sloppy foot pocket.  A poor design can spoil other blade features and make them less effective.

 In a loose fin fit, the extra foot-motion creates an energy sponge, absorbing the kick�s power and preventing it from reaching the fin blade.  Under these circumstances, no matter how good the blade design is, it can never reach maximum design-performance.

The ANGEL FIN has a narrow tapered opening at the beginning of the fin pocket and broadens in the toe area. The top of the pocket is recessed to let the ball of the foot slide forward into the fin for a good grip. A lower sole/heel extension plate stabilizes & unifies the foot and fin.  This design allows the fin-pocket to snug up around the foot. The inside of the pocket has a thin layer of neoprene for comfort and is EVA supported on the outside for strength and flexible firmness. The fit approaches that of a skate or ski boot. With this superior design you get to work the fin with your whole foot, not just the end where your toes are.

This advanced foot-pocket design transfers all the leg's kicking power directly to the blade, without sacrificing an energy loss at the ankle or in the foot pocket.  Because the foot-pocket is engineered to match the blade's requirements, all of the blade features can effortlessly reach peak performance, on every single stroke.

2.   The ANGEL FIN�s flexible blade cups and scoops water on both the up and down kick. The anti-spill rails keep the water moving down the fin and off the blade tip, converting all of the flow into thrust. Like an Energy Plant, turning water into power, the ANGEL FIN converts leg muscle into blade thrust.  It gives the diver effortless maneuverability and propulsion. Any increase in kicking effort is directly proportional to blade thrust.

3.    Another plus is the blade material - an exacting combination of neoprene rubber and two hardnesses of EVA materials, 55 & 75. The foot-pocket has the 75 for support and the blade has the 55 for suppleness.  The EVA material has long elastic life and better return properties compared to less expensive composite plastic used by other manufacturers.  The EVA flexible material allows a comfortable low resistant kick, but holds a strong blade memory, giving a much faster rebound-snap or push at the end of each stroke. When you add up the facts (not all mentioned here) you get one of the best high-tech fins on the market and it performs just as well at the cash register.
